Bonafide Secret Paradise

Writer: Stylemugger by AwilStylemugger by Awil

Let me share the not-so-plan place that I visited when I was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Me and my sister accidentally went to this place. We are just walking and looking for a place to shoot until we figured out that we are almost near to Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park. So, we decided to look what's inside of it.

And tadaaaaa, at first look, it's kinda creepy for me because there's plenty of plants which makes me think that there's a lot of caterpillars everywhere. LOL, I am afraid of caterpillars, but the weird part is I am looking for a snake that time! Weeee, that's my favorite animal - SNAKE! LOL

Butterflies are everywhere - different sizes and colors are stunning. Aside from butterflies, there's other animals like fishes, lizards, frogs, etc. I keep saying "wow" every time I saw a different creature. LOL, I'm so kid that time.

Perfect shot!

Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park is the largest butterfly garden in the world. It is spanning over 80,000 sq ft of landscaped garden with over 5,000 live butterflies, exotic plants, butterfly-host plants and ferns. There's a Japanese Koi, fish, fresh water turtles, live insects and a museum with a large collection of butterflies and insects from around the world. Amazing, right?!

How to get to Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park

- By train, stop at the Old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and walk towards Masjid Negara. It is located right behind the Masjid Negara.

- By bus, take the RapidKL bus numbers: B101 or B112. Alight at the Dayabumi Complex and walk towards Masjid Negara. From there it is a short walk to the park.

- Or take a taxi as the simplest way. *wink*

There's different kind of flowers too, and admiring waterfalls. A place with a very relaxing and super mother nature surroundings is a must-place to visit. If you are with your kids, put this Butterfly park in your list. Your kids will love this place.

I am not really into a butterfly and never been to a butterfly park. So, it was something different for me. Nowadays, I've never been seen any butterfly in Manila nor in Cavite (my hometown) that's why I am really surprised when I saw the butterfly museum.

This is one of my favorite butterflies I saw. It has a metallic blue color. So cool, right?!
