I know it's late (better late than never...) but before 2017 ends, I want to share my first Europe trip. I went to Denmark last 11 months ago. *wink* It was winter that time and it's my first time to see a snow. Hihihihihi...
I want to tell what I've experienced, everything, but let me share first this museum I visited in Aarhus. This is my favorite tourist spot - Den Gamle By.

Den Gamle By is also known as the Old Town Museum. The museum was opened in 1914. It is an open-air museum in Aarhus, Denmark and has 75 historic buildings from 20 municipalities across the country. As of 2015, it counts 3.5 million visitors per year.

The museum got an award in the Michelin Travel Guide for maximum of three stars - no wonder why this is my favorite museum. I extremely like the time travelling concept where you will see people who are dressed-up and acting as folk at the end of the 19th century and also as how people lived and worked in 1927. Not just only that, the townhouses and the street are exactly as they stood in the past. So fascinating!
The cool part is, you will effectively take in the historical backdrop of Denmark by observing the distinctive attractions inside the museum than perusing a long article from the web and sitting on your couch. LOL Learning new things at the same time you're enjoying is one of the best things you can do.

The attractions highlighted the Welfare State of Denmark, time before 1900, modern times in 1920, close-up of the Danes' favorite cars, museum of living history and the other special exhibitions and smaller museums.
