I am almost two months here in Penang, Malaysia and I still not yet try all kinds of local food here. Don't worry, I will share with you all the local food here soon. But for now, I want to share this Italian restaurant I found in the colorful and multicultural capital of Penang - Georgetown. I know, it sounds different, but why not - Italian food in Penang. You must try it! *wink*

Viva La Pasta is an Italian restaurant located at 96, Jalan Rangoon, Georgetown, Penang. They were started last month - September 2017. The restaurant is on the ground floor of this classy boutique hotel - iStay Hotel. Viva La Pasta serves meals to the guest of the hotel - how convenient it is, right?!
They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and coffee. They have outdoor seating and can make a reservation. The staff are so approachable even the manager - she is so pleasant. She always makes sure her customer is comfortable with their services. I love the interior setup of the restaurant. It looks elegant like a fine-dining restaurant, but don't worry the food is not so expensive. Food price is reasonable. The chef is a Chinese, but fully trained in Italian food. Awesome, right?!
Opening Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 11:00PM

We almost tried all the food from the menu. Appetizers & sides, soups, pizza, pasta, meat and dessert - name it! I love all their food. I almost finished all of the food they served except the lamb because I "think" I have an allergy to it. But still, I tried a little bit of it. The meat is so tender, and it has a very delicious thick sauce. All food is so mouth watering and now, I am craving! LOL
So, check the photos of the food I tried and see for yourself how delicious it is.
