Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia. It has many things to offer for both local and tourist - from temples, shopping malls, nightlife and street foods. It has a huge variety of attractions to choose, since tourism is the focal concentration of Kuala Lumpur. And one more thing, the food is superb cheap and a lot of options that you can try.
My sister and I decided to have a 4 nights and 3 days vacation in Kuala Lumpur. We stayed in a budget hotel - Sunbow Hotel Residency, located in Bukit Bintang. I booked it via Agoda.com. I recommend this hotel for those who are on a budget, but if your pocket is prepared, at that point go for a decent one. *wink*
If you are planning to visit Kuala Lumpur, better to stay in Bukit Bintang. Anyhow, let me share with you what influenced me and my sister to get occupied for 3 days in Kuala Lumpur.
We arrived Kuala Lumpur past 6:00PM. We took the KLIA Express train from airport to KL Sentral. From KL Sentral, we took the KL Monorail train going to the Bukit Bintang station and took a public cab going to our hotel. You will get a card for KLIA Express and a token plastic coin for KL Monorail. How cute, right?! Na-amazed lang naman ako sa token plastic coin. Hehehehe
We chose to take a rest with the goal that we're full charge for the following day.

I recommend the places listed in our itinerary except the Botanical Square - Butterfly Park. I am kinda disappointed because I am expecting a lot of butterflies. I didn't see much real butterflies, instead I saw a lot of butterfly collections. The park is brimming with plants and some animals like frogs, fish and lizards. Seriously, where is the butterfly there?? So disappointed.

Don't forget to shop in Central Market. If you're on a budget, this place is good for you - you can make a bargain to get a good deal. *wink*

You can go to NU Sentral and Berjaya Times Square if you prefer a branded clothes and stuff.
If you're looking for nightlife, go to Changkat or Jalan Alor both are located in Bukit Bintang. Changkat is more on pubs, restaurants and clubs while Jalan Alor is more on hawker stalls and seafood restaurant. Jalan Alor is the best place to try the local food.
Along with Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower is also a famous tourist spot in Kuala Lumpur. If you are looking for roof top bar near KL Tower, I recommend the Luna Roof Top Bar. It's a two-storey rooftop bar on the 34th floor of Pacific Regency Suites and it has a 360° view of the city. Food and drinks are kinda pricey, but it is worth it.
This dessert is too much for me. It has an ice cream, cereal, coconut jelly, vivid sprinkles and coconut itself in a coconut shell instead of ice cream cone.
Took our dinner at Jalan Alor. Be careful in ordering food, one dish is good for 2-3 person. Me and my sister ordered 4 dishes because they said 1 dish is good for 1 person. And when we saw our order, tadaaaaa, ang dami!!! LOL

I missed the authentic Nasi Lemak so I tried it in Cafe Coffee Day. I rather recommend the Nasi Lemak which traditionally wrapped in a banana leaf or a brown paper. It is considered the national dish in Malaysia. Nasi Lemak has the traditional anchovies chili paste, cucumber, peanuts, egg and various side dishes like fried chicken, etc. - must-try food!
